Status 4 designed and delivered a high-energy and interactive training for Business development workshop for Senior Business Development Managers at Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions. The workshop was designed to help improve self-generated sales opportunities from the team. The schedule included the following content:
Getting to Status 4
The success of everything we do at work and indeed life is determined by the how we approach it. Our status, confidence and positivity can be measured on a 1-5 scale and it is the consistency of this that will help us improve. This session is designed to explore the different levels of status, how they influence certain situations and how we ensure we deliver consistency.
How People See Cold Calling
This session discussed the perception of cold calling from different groups of people including the business development managers themselves and then as a group we create a blueprint on how the Hitachi way will be consistently more effective.
Increasing Self-Generated Opportunities
1. What makes the Hitachi proposition different and What are the unique selling points of the business and as people?
2. How to construct an effective outbound call or Linkedin approach? What is important to remember?
3.What stops us doing this and how can we overcome these barriers ?
The session finished with an understanding and agreement of what “excellence” looks like at Hitachi relating to outbound calls
The key part of the day came after lunch where the delegates were asked to bring some real life targets to the table. One by one as a group we discussed each opportunity and made a live sales call in the room which was discussed after. This was a great way to come out of a comfort zone and receive and give feedback with your peers.
